William M. O'Neil

      William M. O’Neil was born in 1913, the son of industrialist William O’Neil of General Tire. After completing his academic preparation as an executive for managerial positions, Mr. O’Neil assumed its program and commercial values in the Akron market. In 1943, he moved WJW to Cleveland , continuing as manager until selling the station in 1954. After 1954, Mr. O’Neil and his wife moved to White Sulphur Springs , West Virginia .
