"Trapper Jack" Elliot
(Phillip J. Keller)

Morning radio host "Trapper Jack" Elliot began his radio career in 1971 on the west coast before moving to Pennsylvania in 1984. On the way, he had honed his skills at staions in Utah, Oregon, and Washington state. In the 1990's he settled in at WTLF in Cleveland, Ohio.
Later he moved into the morning spot at WDOK where he remained a long-running favorite.
Over the years, he continues to prove that a sharp wit is far more entertaining than offensive and vulgar, commentary. Serving as chair of the Foundation Fighting Blindness" fall fundraising dinner among many other generous activities, the "Trapper's" many personal appearances and community service with charitable organizations built a strong and loyal following among Cleveland, Ohio listeners and generated a host of well-deserved awards.
