Robin Wagner Swoboda

Robin Swoboda began her broadcasting career at her hometown television station while attending Missouri Western State College. Her debut as an anchor took place in Moline, Illinois, in 1981. Following a brief stay at a Miami station, she moved to the Cleveland Market in 1986.
From 1986 until 1991, Swoboda was an important part of the energy at WJW NEWSCENTER 8’s popular 6 and 11 p.m. Newscasts. Her voice and face became one of the most familiar in northeastern Ohio.
She left WJW in 1991 to co-host a women’s sports program for NBC. After that show was cancelled, she took a brief sabbatical and then became active in the Kansas City, Missouri market. Swoboda returned to WJW in January of 1995.
Readers of Cleveland Magazine and Northern Ohio Live have named her Best Female Anchor.
She joined Northeast Ohio’s family radio station, 95.5 FM The Fish, in March of 2002.
She resides in Medina, Ohio, with her husband, Bryan Wagner, former NFL punter, and her three children Matthew, Hallie and Will.
