Robert Poe Robert Poe was
born in 1914. He returned from Marine Service in World War II in 1946 and
immediately secured two positions as morning newscaster for WHKK and
afternoon writer and reporter for the Cleveland Plain Dealer until 1956.
That year, he was employed by WADC as an announcer and later promoted to
News Director. At present, Poe has his won Advertising and Public Relations
