Robert F. Morton

      Robert F. Morton was born in 1912. Beginning in 1934, Mr. Morton worked for 24 years in Akron radio at stations WJW and WADC. After his graduation from radio school, he started at WJW with the usual assigned duties of operating the control room, running turntables and doing maintenance at the transmitter site. After three years with WJW, he accepted employment at WADC where he continued as a skilled transmitter engineer and operator for 21 years. Now retired, Bob resides in Ravenna , Ohio .
