The
Am Voice of WQAL (Q104) is Larry Morrow, one of the best known personalities
Cleveland
has ever known. His wit and informative style has earned him scores of
listeners and his tireless dedication to the community has earned him the
respect of all.
Morrow debuted in this area on
WIXY in 1966. He previously had been at CKLW in Detroit-Windsor, then one of
the top-rated stations in
North America
. He landed at WQAL in 1985.
In addition to his on-air work,
his radio and television commercial production company has won local and
national advertising awards.
Morrow has been associated with
over 150 civic and charitable fund-raisers. In 1991, he was awarded the
Downtown Business Council Recognition Award in the Communication Category
for his role in downtown
Cleveland
’s renaissance.
