Lynda Hirsch

      Keeping up with the "soaps" has made Lynda a nationally syndicated columnist as well as a recognized figure on WEWS and WKYC-TV. Her radio talk show has also been notable on WERE. Daytime drama fans have relied on her timely knowledge of soap operas since 1976. She's even been seen in cameo "walk-ons" on some of the top soap opera productions. A Kent State University graduate, here entertainment columns are in some 200 newspapers across the country. She has also appeard on the "Oprah Winfrey Show", "Geraldo", and "Regis and Cathie Lee". In May 1983, the Smithsonian Institution requested seven years of Lynda's columns to be included in its newly established soap opera exhibit in its archives. Lynda received the distinguished "Matrix" award for producing a television special for the 30th anniversary of "Guiding Light". With here background in journalism, Lynda was honored by the Southern California Psychiatric Association for an article on mental illness. She has a weekly column on soap stars and stories in"Star" magazine.
