Jean Hartz

      Jean has served as the very efficient Secretary and Treasurer of the Akron Radio Hall of Fame since August of 1983. She attended Fugazzi Business College graduating with an Executive Secretary degree and a minor in accounting, then renewing her accounting later at the University of Kentucky Extension College . She joined WCUE-AM and FM in 1970 as Executive Secretary and Office Manager and has remained in this position for the past fifteen years. She has presided over the bookkeeping, payroll, invoicing and the general office serving as the Business Manager and Office Manager for both WCUE and WKDD until 1987. She later became the President of the Broadcasters Hall of Fame. She was also awarded the C. S. “Doc” Williams Award in 1995.  She now resides in Lexington , Kentucky (since 1995).
