Herb Score

Herb Score had a colorful career of 35 years as the friendly and popular voice of Cleveland Indians Baseball tv and radio games.

The former outstanding Tribe pitcher launched his broadcasting career in late 1963 on Indians tv games and four years later took his easy going, conversational style to the radio booth where he became a fan favorite before retiring after the 1997 season. Herb was a keen student on the game of baseball, had a pleasant style for describing the game action and became an Ambassador of Goodwill for baseball and broadcasting.
