Henry Dunn

      Mr. Henry Dunn began his career in broadcasting in 1968 on the radio station WSLR 1350 in Akron, Ohio as a broker with a black gospel musical program, from 7:00 am until 8:00 am. In 1969 he was chosen to be the gospel music Co-ordinator and program director and board engineer for black gospel programming in Canton, Ohio, on radio station WHOF 1060 from 7:00am until 12:00 noon Sunday--moving to WkNT 1520 seven years later. He was later called back to Canton, Ohio, to become the black gospel Music Director on radio station WTOF 98.1 and at the same time, he became the co-chair of the Northeast Ohio Religious announcers Guild, a Member of the board of the Bobby Jones Gospel Hour, of the BET Network.

He was inducted into the Broadcasters Hall of Fame in 1994. He was voted in as a member of the board of directors of the Broadcasters Hall of Fame in 1995. In 1997 he was elected the Vice President of The original Broadcasters Hall of Fame in Akron, Ohio with their headquarters and display in the Quaker Square Crowne Plaza.

Mr. Dunn has received citations from State of Ohio, Summit County, and the city of Canton, and Akron for outstanding work in the community. Mr. Dunn has helped and trained many in the field of broadcasting, and has received many awards from groups and individuals in the city of Akron and abroad.

He published and produced 15 musical compositions, released four 45 rpm(s), 2 Lps and many CD's, while managing the world famous Dynamic Dundaleers radio talent and recording artist.

He is currently the assistant manager, Program Director , Music Director Production Manager of WJTB 1040 am(Taylor Broadcasting, Northridgeville Cleveland).

He serves on the staff of radio station WNPQ 95.9 FM Religious Program of Canton Ohio as the Music Director For Black Gospel Music . A Member of the world's largest announcers guild--The Gospel Announcer Guild of GMWA. Mr. Dunn is also an accomplished musician and Minister of Music of the Mount Lebanon Baptist Church, and vice president of the Original Broadcasters Hall Of Fame.
