Gib Shanley       Ask Ohio sports fans to name their favorite announcers and the name Gib Shanley will be heard again and again.       Shanley’s first experience with radio was in Bellaire, Ohio, but his 30 plus years in Cleveland have made him one of the best known and knowledgeable announcers in Ohio . He came to Cleveland in 1961 to broadcast the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State football games for WGAR. He was the voice of the Browns for 24 years.       Shanley was the Sports Director at WEWS-TV for 17 years. He has served in that position at WUAB-TV since 1988.       He has been named Ohio Sportcaster of the Year four times.
