George V. Paul George
Paul was born in 1916. Paul’s first experience in radio engineering began
in 1940 with the construction of WAKR’s studio and transmitter equipment.
He became the third Chief Engineer of WAKR.
He left WAKR in 1950 and served as Chief Engineer of WCUE until 1957.
In 1957, he was employed in the engineering department at WADC and remained
there through the change of ownership to the new call letters of WSLR. He
left WSLR in 1975. At the present time, George is Chief Engineer for
