Frank Strnad

      Before becoming Operations Manager of WVIZ-TV, Public Television's Channel 25 in Cleveland, in 1968, Detroit-born Frank Strnad worked as a television director at Michigan State University and as director and productionl coordinator for news and public affairs programs at WMBD-TV in Peoria, Illinois. HIs skills also flourished as producer/director and executive producer for nationally distributed children's and community affiaris programs at WMVS-TV in Milwaukee. His career in -ublic television has earned him numerous broadcasting awards including a national Emmy Award for directing. He served several terms on the Board of Governors for Cleveland Chapter of the National Acadamy of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) , including terms as President and Vice-president and was a national Trustee for the Cleveland Chapter of NATAS for eight years. In 1994, Strnad was inducted into the NATAS Silver Circle.
