Frankie Reynolds

      Radio fans from coast-to-coast have enjoyed the sax and clarinet of Frankie Reynolds for many decades. A member of the WADC staff orchestra at age 12, by 17, he had his own orchestra and show on WJW, Akron . Over the years, Frankie Reynolds had regular programs of WADC, WCUE and WAKR. Many of his remotes that originated from Akron , Canton and Cleveland were announced by another Hall of Fame inductee, Alan Freed. The music of Frankie Reynolds and his orchestra was broadcast over CBS and NBC and he recorded on Bluebird Records for RCA.

 In 1973, Reynolds organized the Akron Pops Orchestra. He owned and operated the Frankie Reynolds Music Store for many years.
