Edward March *

      The Polka Music Man, Ed March, began his musical career in 1938 at the age of 12 and has been entertaining audiences in person and on-the-air ever since. Since 1978, he has served as a Community Programmer and Disc Jockey for WAUP 88 FM. He was initially an alternating announcer on the Polish Hour Show that was supported by the United Polish American Council of Summit County . In 1983, he received his personal ethnic radio show and now broadcasts weekly. “The Polka Connection”, serves the Northeast area of Ohio with not only the contemporary sounds in polka music, but also news and items of interest to the ethnic community. For the past six years, Mr. March has served as President of the United Polish American Council of Summit County .
