Dorothy R. Mattes

      Dorothy was born in 1922. She was employed by WAKR in 1958. After spending her first six years in the Traffic Department for both WAKR AM and FM operations, she was promoted to the position of Executive Secretary of Alfred F. Grosby, Vice-President and General Manager in 1964. She has served as Executive Secretary to three more General Managers since Mr. Grosby, namely, Samuel L Yacovazzi, Craig McGee and for Fred Anthony. In addition to her secretarial duties, Dorothy has handled all Accounts Payable for Summit Radio Corporation for the past eight years.
