David S. Johnson

      David Johnson is not only the Chief Engineer at WTOF but also the Director of Engineering for Mortenson Broadcasting. During the 22 years he has served in this capacity, he has built and improved eight radio stations in Ohio , West Virginia , Kentucky and Colorado . He is currently building a new station in Dallas , Texas . In 1984, he rebuilt WHLO’s studios and transmitter facilities, adding AM Stereo and an 8 track recording facility. Johnson also started his own business in 1973 that provides frequency measurements and other technical services for stations in the Northeast area.
