Billy Soule’s first broadcasting job was the 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. shift at WAMO-FM in Pittsburgh, PA. He held this job for one year – his senior year in high school. During his time in the Air Force, he was a radio and television production specialist. When he returned to Pittsburgh, he joined the staff of “Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood: as a lighting and production assistant. He stayed in the Pittsburgh radio/TV market until 1978 when he moved to Akron’s WAKR Radio. Soule has been the producer/host for music videos at WAKC-TV for 10 years. In November, 1993 he was voted the producer of the “Best Local/Regional Video Show” by Billboard Magazine. |
