As an outstanding professional gospel artist since 1970, Al's versatile career in broadcasting has seen him as performer, announcer, entrepreneur, broadcaster and record company executive. Born in Decatur, Alabama, he has spent most of his time with WTLC, Indianapolis and is chairman of the Gospel Music Workshop of America, Inc.. He was the founder and president of ALEHO International Records, executive vice-chairman of Gospel Announcers Guild (GMWA), and organizes and produces the Gospel Music Excellence Awards. He records for Atlantic International Records, and is a board member and co-producer of the Bobby Jones Gospel Explosion in Nashville. He is sales and general manager for WTLC. |
