John Phillips has been on the radio as a gospel announcer for over 53 years. He is currently on radio station KTYM, Inglewood 1460 AM in Los Angeles, CA. He is a member of the Gospel Music Workshop of America. John is the sound engineer and deacon at Trinity Baptist Church. On October 21, 2000, John and his wife Vermya were inducted into the International Gospel Music Hall of Fame in Detroit, MI. |
