Edward Stephens, Jr. is the President of the Virginia Gospel Announcers Guild. He has been bringing the Gospel to the airways for over 23 years. He has an Honorazy Doctorate Degree in Scared Music and Communication. Ed currently oversees at least 48 stations for Davidson Media Group. He has covered major events around the world. He recently covered gospel music for the Governor of Virginia, and the arrival of the Queen of England. Ed has broadcast at King Dominion of Paramont. He has been voted Most Outstanding Black Man of America Award. Ed has covered over 2000 gospel programs in the past 20 years. Ed Stephens, Jr. Day was proclaimed on February 4, 1995. On August 15, 2007, he received the Golden Microphone Award from Central South. At the present he is the National Account Executive for Rejoice Musical Soul Food. He is heard on the air each Saturday from 3:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. on 1540 WREJ-AM a Davidson Media Group station.
